"CGPRT Crops in the Philippines: A Statistical Profile, 1990-1999" is the eighth in the series of the CGPRT Centre's publications providing specific and wide-ranging agricultural data focusing on coarse grains, pulses, roots and tuber (CGPRT) crops in Asia. An earlier series was published in January 1992 in collaboration with the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCARRD) covering the period 1960-1990. In keeping pace with the previous publication, this updated volume covers eight crops: corn (maize), mungbean, soybean, groundnut, cassava, sweet potato, white potato and rice.
